Two local students were winners for our book bag drawings!

8/20/2014

It's the first week back to school for Duval County students! We're taking a moment to look back and remember how much fun in the sun we had with our family and friends.

All of the students who attended the Back to School Fest hosted by Duval County Public Schools provided over 2,500 backpacks to students throughout the district.

To assist in that effort, the Jacksonville Public Education Fund held a drawing for two back packs for a boy and girl. Both winners of the back packs were excited to receive their book bags filled with age and gender appropriate goodies and school supplies. Both students were prepared to start this year off great.

We'd like to wish every student fun-filled educational experiences for this school year!

Winners:

Back pack winner 2

Walcott R., 1st Grader

Back pack winner 1
