UPDATE: Duval County School Board passes school grades resolution

At their meeting yesterday, the Duval County School Board voted to pass a resolution calling on the state to suspend the issuance of school grades in the 2014-15 school year. You can read the full resolution here.
We agree. After researching school grades for more than a year, we believe that a single-year pause in the grading system would be the best way to ensure that school accountability remains strong.
