John J. “Jack” Allen is the president of Allen Land Group, Inc. and Mitigation Solutions, Inc., land brokerage, development, investment and wetland mitigation companies based in Jacksonville, Florida. He previously worked for Barnett Bank, Inc. in national corporate banking. He started his career in commercial real estate sales as an acreage specialist with the original Coldwell Banker Commercial Group (now known as CBRE). He is the founder and manager of numerous investment entities focused on land development activities in northeast Florida. He also owns and operates the Prairie Oaks Farm beef cattle operation in Putnam County. He developed the Northeast Florida Wetland Mitigation Bank, the first totally private, regional offsite wetland mitigation bank in the history of Florida. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University.
